The record attempt was for the number of self-propelled forage harvesters working simultaneously in one field. CRS was more than happy to oblige, donating two solutions for the weekend's event. One used as a security cabin, and the other was a cold storage solution for an onsite cold store.
On the 6th May 2017 in Kiltale Trim Co. Meath, in front of a crowd of 5500 spectators Combines4Charity were successful in their attempt when at 10 am, 104 self-propelled harvesters descended on the 100ac site chopping the grass and blowing it into trailers.
"We are delighted with the assistance we have received from local business The CRS Group. With them donating several solutions to us for the weekend, really helped us and was one less thing to worry about. It is great to see local businesses come together and help charities in the area. Thank you CRS."
Tony Brady, Event Organiser.
